Clifton’s passion for the banjo is contagious. I highly recommend his Banjo Heritage Commons project. Great banjo instruction and historic information. S e a n G a r e s

As a limey from the other side of the pond and an x punk with a musical taste from classical to anywhere !
I was always moved by "duelling banjo's" in the movie deliverance bought me a cheap banjo so started looking into banjer music, on tinternet (colloquial) watched lots of "lessons" just didn't get it, then found mr. hicks. great voice and plays with a natural freedom that only a true artist can, authentic, thank you sir :) gary weightman

Outstanding track......I’m afraid I don’t know if it’s an old time folk tune, or a more modern interpretation. Has a sea shanty vibe about, love it though. Do you know the story please? stukabobs
